I get a lot of emails about the pricey shipping costs so I just want to address it here. I'm not scamming you. These are the actual costs of the US postal service priority mail right now. Especially shipping outside of the USA, the costs are very high, I know. I wish I could do something about it to make this more accessible but I can't. I only send priority mail now instead of a cheaper media mail because I've had so many issues in the past with things getting lost or destroyed if I don't send priority mail and then I end up having to reimburse the cost of the record as well as the shipping and I've lost a lot of money that way so this is really the only option for me shipping right now unfortunately. Just know that all the shipping costs are going towards actual postage, I'm not pocketing any money beyond the cost of the item. I understand if you can't stomach the shipping cost, I don't blame you....love you anyways :)

This song sort of came out of nowhere and I was delighted, honestly. I co-wrote this song with one old friend, Ben Wigler, and one brand new friend, Henry Baker. Ben was producing, co-writing, and recording a record last year for his new friend, Henry, and had asked me if I’d like to do some vocals for the recording. They passed the songs along to me and I was floored at Henry’s lyric writing and the simple yet compelling melodies they were writing for the songs. It was so unique to me and I just wanted to get involved. Henry and I started exchanging bits of *lyrics and demos and there was one demo he sent me that really caught my attention because it seemed to fit so well with a lot of the songs I was writing at the time. It was the beginnings of a song that him and Ben had worked on. I started working on it that day and it became this song. Later, I weirdly ran into Henry in London and we met for the first time after we had finished this song. I’m sure, with a co-write, the song has a slightly different meaning for everyone involved, but for me, it’s about putting in the work on yourself, not only for yourself, but for someone you love too. I know, in theory, that can be problematic, but I find the sentiment really sweet--the whole “you make me want to be a better person” thing. At the time, the person I wanted to better myself for was myself.
